Red Rock Pediatrics Announces Free Newborn Care Classes!

    November 29, December 29, January 31, 2012 and
    February 28, 2012.
  • Time: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Starting November 29, 2011, classes teaching how to care for newborns will be held once a month at Red Rock Pediatrics, 800 Cove Parkway, Cottonwood. The classes will cover tummy time, feeding, car seats and cord care along with one other major topic: the common cold and your newborn, Immunizations, the basics and the myths, newborn jaundice, and sleep habits. All of the classes will be taught by Dr. Abraham Lee and Alice Meyer, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Classes start at 6:00 PM and end at 7:00 PM. Free child care and snacks will be provided. The classes are part of the many community services provided by Red Rock Pediatrics. They are aimed at the first time parents and any parent who has questions regarding how to care for their newborn. All classes are free.
